The Lakeshore High School Titan Band is open to students in all four grades looking to show their school spirit, while improving their musicianship and performance skills and building life-long friendships. The Titan Band is one of the most competitive organizations on campus and travels regionally and nationally to perform.
The Titan Band Program
- Regional marching festivals: The Band and Color Guard participate in several marching competitions in September through November every year. The Band travels together to the competitions typically in Louisiana and Mississippi.
- Winter Concert: The Band makes the holidays complete with a holiday concert, participation in the Mandeville holiday parade along Lake Ponchartrain, and an annual performance at Holiday of Lights at Koop Drive.
- Mardi Gras Parades: The Band participates in numerous parades on both the Northshore and Southshore. We are proud of our Band’s history of placing in many parade Band competitions!
- Indoor Winds, Indoor Percussion & Winter Guard: Some of our Band students participate in the Spring Indoor competitions across Louisiana. The Indoor Winds, Indoor Percussion, and Winter Guard all compete separately.
- Spring Concert: The Band puts together a program for the District IX Large Ensemble Assessment, where they are judged by a panel of experts and given a rating. The Band then presents those pieces, as well as a few more, at the Spring Concert in April or May.
