Jordan Cagle

Color Guard Instructor

Jordan Cagle is in her second year as the color guard instructor for the Lakeshore Titan Band. Her color guard career started Caldwell Parish High School where she spun for four years before attending the University of Louisiana Monroe where she spun for 5 years. Jordan was a member of TCA Independent Winterguard from Monroe, LA. She was the previous guard instructor at West Ouachita High School. She is very thankful for all of the instructors and band directors that have pushed her to where she is today.

Christian Thorne

Percussion Instructor

Christian Thorne is the percussion instructor for the Titan Band. He is a graduate of Fontainebleau High School where he was a member of the Crimson Band drumline. After high school, Christian attended Southeastern Louisiana University majoring in music education. Most of his teaching experience has been gained through private students of all ages over the past ten years in guitar, percussion, and keyboard instruments. He is currently employed with the Louisiana Academy of the Performing Arts for the past three years. His hobbies include catching snakes and educating people in the field study of herpetology.

Thomas Braud

Music and Visual Technician

Thomas Braud is currently a music educator for the St. Tammany Parish school board. Mr. Braud previously served as the Director of Bands at Ponchatoula High School in Ponchatoula, La. Under his direction the Greenwave Marching Band and PHS Symphonic Band consistently earned excellent and superior rating. Mr. Braud had also served as the Director of Bands at Hammond High Magnet School in Hammond, La. and Director of Band and Choir at Archbishop Hannan High School in Covington, La. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Southeastern Louisiana University in the Fall of 2012. As a percussionist, he performed as a member of the Southeastern Wind Symphony, Symphonic Band, Orchestra, Jazz Combos and the Spirit of the Southland Marching Band. Mr. Braud has performed professionally with the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra and as a freelance percussionist. Additionally, he has made stage appearances in the productions Les Misérables and This Stage of Love. He is an alumni member of the Delta Omega chapter of Phi Mu Alpha Music Fraternity. Mr. Braud is also a member of the Percussive Arts Society, Louisiana Music Educators Association, and National Association for Music Education. Thomas resides in Madisonville, LA with his wife and 2 kids. He would like to thank his family for all of their support
