Dear Colleagues,

The Lakeshore High School Titan Band is proud to host the 8th Annual Clash at the Coliseum Marching Band Competition. We invite bands from across the region to join us for a day dedicated to outstanding performances, exceptional hospitality, and a first-class competitive experience.

Hosted at the Titan Coliseum of Lakeshore High School in Mandeville, Louisiana, our event is designed with both performers and spectators in mind. Our modern campus features a state-of-the-art turf field, paved travel paths, ample parking, and indoor warm-up facilities for inclement weather. Nestled away from heavy traffic and distractions, our campus provides an ideal setting for an organized, efficient, and enjoyable competition day.

For 2026, we are excited to utilize the LMEA Sheets for adjudication and scoring. To ensure a fair, consistent, and educational evaluation, all members of our adjudication panel are selected from outside Louisiana. Our distinguished panel will evaluate performances in the following areas:

  • Music General Effect
  • Music Performance – Individual
  • Music Performance – Ensemble
  • Visual General Effect
  • Visual Performance – Individual
  • Visual Performance – Ensemble
  • Percussion
  • Auxiliary
  • Drum Major

Directors will receive digital recaps, judge recordings, video, and scoring sheets through Competition Suite, allowing for immediate access to valuable feedback following the event.

Awards will be presented in each classification for Music, Visual, General Effect, Percussion, Color Guard/Auxiliary, and Overall Performance, along with Overall Outstanding Percussion, Overall Outstanding Color Guard, Reserve Grand Champion, and Grand Champion honors.

Bands will be classified based on wind instrumentation:

  • Class A: 1–35 Winds
  • Class 2A: 36–55 Winds
  • Class 3A: 56–77 Winds
  • Class 4A: 78–100 Winds
  • Class 5A: 101+ Winds

At Clash at the Coliseum, our goal is simple: to provide every participating ensemble with an exceptional performance experience from arrival to awards. From our dedicated volunteers and efficient logistics to our outstanding facilities and welcoming atmosphere, we strive to make this an event that directors, students, and families look forward to each season.

We hope you’ll join us on Saturday, October 17, 2026, for another exciting year of music, competition, and Titan hospitality. We look forward to welcoming your band to the Coliseum!

Sincerely,
Craig Byers Director of Bands, Lakeshore High School
